World Series in Cooperstown, NY
Donna,
As we are getting ready for our upcoming trip to my son’s World Series in Cooperstown, NY, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your help.
I have been diligently working with my physical therapist (PT) and occupational therapist (OT) to adapt to the wheelchair, and I can confidently say that I am now fully prepared for the trip.
Once again, we cannot thank you enough for all the support you provide to ALS patients. Without your assistance, this trip would not have been possible.
Sending you a lot of blessings.
Whole House Generator
Dear Donna and HARK,
I would like to take the opportunity to thank you so much for your very generous donation towards our whole house generator. When I opened your letter I cried tears of joy and relief. No more panic attacks! No more scrambling for back up batteries! Thank you so much! We had the generator contractor here Friday and we signed the contract. It has to be approved by the community association where we live now the contractor will take care of all permits and it comes with 2 propane tanks and propane. The generator will be installed in 3-4 months as they are very busy after hurricane Milton. They assured me that it would be done before hurricane season thankfully. That gives me time to save the rest of the money. If not we will get a loan. I am very excited and I feel so very blessed for you and your organization. I will definitely send pictures when we get it done.
Thank you with all of my heart.
God bless you and your organization.

Please Never Stop What You Do!
Donna,
I am so grateful!! Yes ma’am we do have children but they are grown. They live on their own with their children. It was just me and my husband Wilkes here at the home. I miss him so much already. I was his caregiver 24/7 for almost two years. I’m lost. I am broke. And devastated but this blessing takes a load off of me because I have been trying everything I could think of. We couldn’t afford life insurance the premiums were so high and I had to quit work we lived off of his disability check. I really appreciate you. Please never stop what you do! You have been more than a blessing to me and my husband more than once. I will never forget your kindness and help. God bless youe cannot thank you enough for all the support you provide to ALS patients.
College Needs
Good afternoon, Ms. Donna.
The check arrived yesterday, and as of today, my daughter Nura has it all in her account to support her purchasing of texts and assist her with expenses through this Semester of college.
We are sincerely grateful for the respite offered to our family. The hardships I am facing to provide for the household needs are one thing, but to not be able to promptly provide 100 % of my daughter’s college needs was something I could no longer bear and was breaking my spirit.
I hope you know and understand the true impact of your support to families like ours.
Best regards, always.
Chair Lift For Our Vehicle
In the quietest corners of life, where the weight of adversity presses heaviest, it is the outstretched hands of others that remind us of the enduring power of kindness. Today, I write with a heart both full and humbled, to express my deepest gratitude to Donna at HARK Inc., whose unwavering generosity and compassion have gifted my husband, Rocky, and me a moment of grace amidst the relentless tide of ALS. ALS, a thief of movement and breath, has rewritten the script of our lives in ways we could never have imagined. Yet, even in the face of its unyielding progression, there are moments—precious, fleeting—that remind us of the beauty of normalcy, of the simple joys that once seemed so ordinary but now feel extraordinary.
Thanks to the incredible support of HARK Inc., and Donna’s decision to purchase a lift for our vehicle, Rocky has been able to experience one of those moments. For the first time in what feels like an eternity, he was able to transfer into our car with ease, breathe freely without his BiPAP, and drive through our neighborhood. It was a moment of liberation, a whisper of the life we once knew, and a testament to the resilience of the human spirit. In that drive, I saw my husband not as a man defined by ALS, but as the man he has always been—strong, determined, and full of life. It was a gift beyond measure, one that words can scarcely capture.
HARK Inc. is more than an organization; it is a beacon of hope for ALS warriors and their families. Their dedication to enabling those living with this devastating disease to reclaim moments of normalcy is nothing short of heroic. They remind us that even in the darkest of times, there is light, and even in the hardest of journeys, there is love and support to carry us forward.
To Donna, and to everyone at HARK Inc., thank you. Thank you for seeing us, for hearing us, and for giving us the gift of hope. Your kindness has touched our lives in ways that will forever be etched in our hearts. Rocky’s journey with ALS is far from easy, but because of you, it is a journey marked by moments of joy, dignity, and love. And for that, we are eternally grateful.
